Cull Hunts In The Kalahari
Are you looking for a budget-friendly hunting experience in one of Africa’s most stunning landscapes? Look no further than our Cull Hunts in the Kalahari.
Cull Hunting is a type of hunt where the primary goal is to remove older non-trophy animals from a herd to maintain a healthy balance and promote sustainable wildlife management. Old females and sub-standard quality males and females are considered cull animals. This process does not only ensure healthy numbers for sustainable hunting but also contributes a lot to improving overall genetics of the species as a whole on our concessions.
Cull hunts are significantly more budget-friendly than traditional trophy hunts, but still offer the thrill and excitement that comes with hunting African game. Cull hunts also directly contribute to sustainable management of wildlife populations.
Our Cull hunts offer a variety of species like Wildebeest, Gemsbok, Springbok, Kudu and Buffalo. Due to our commitment to sustainable hunting practices and ensuring the long-term health of our populations, we have implemented a strictly limited quota on our cull hunts.
This hunt will offer you an unforgettable experience, combining exciting hunting with a relaxing vacation in one of Africa’s most stunning landscapes. To ensure availability for your preferred species and dates, contact us early in the season. Our Cull hunt quotas fill up quickly and we wouldn’t want you to miss out on this exciting opportunity.

Bow Hunting Adventures In The Kalahari
The Kalahari is a bow hunter’s paradise!
The unique flora of the Kalahari gives the bow hunter the perfect amount of cover, while not being too dense for spot and stalk hunting. Some stalks might only take a few minutes to get a shot opportunity, while others would take everything you have to get into position for that perfect shot.
The dry season reduces the number of places where the animals can get water daily, which makes sitting at waterholes a very productive technique. We utilize permanent pit, ground and elevated blinds so you can sit in comfort and be ready when the time comes. We also make use of pop-up blinds to adapt to changes in wind and animal movement.
Our PH and founder Brendan is an avid bow hunter himself. “I’m always extra excited to have another bow hunter in camp. I never get tired of rolling up my sleeves and going the extra mile to give them the thrill of a lifetime”.
After initial contact has been made with HTK Safaris, we will provide a comprehensive guide that covers optimal equipment setup for the African Bow Hunter.
For the avid Bow Hunter, no other place on the planet will give you this amount of shot opportunity at game animals like the Kalahari. Bring a quiver full and let the arrows fly!
